Every ninja is entitled to summonings.

Genin: May some small animals or even human sized animals from their contract. These summons have 1 element.
Chuunin: May summon larger animal roughly 10-20ft in size. These animals have 2 elements. May summon multiple genin summons.
Jounins: May summon even larger summons ranging from 30-40ft. Can summon multiple summons of chuunin level.
Anything above Jounin: May Summon the Boss summon
of their specific contract. They may also summon multiple summons of
the previous ranks.
